Basic Drum Book

The Schinstine-Hoey BASIC DRUM Book is part of a larger Drum Method" series that came as a result of ten years of detailed experimentation by the authors and many others to develop new ideas, fresh approaches and additions to snare drum training.  Lessons include: basic hand and stick positions, single stroke exercises, and early rudiments such as flams and rolls.  Each lesson is followed by a song to showcase the new skill.  The book also offers lessons on bass drum and cymbal technique before offering numerous drum ensembles at the end of the book.
