Clair De Lune
SMC ST366/ HL 3775023
This arrangement of the famous composition by Debussy utilizes the elegant voices of four flutes. It can be played by larger flute choirs merely by doubling each part. Or, for added interest and color, an alto flute or bass flute can be used on the fourth part, thereby making it a quintet. When played well, it is a very rewarding work which appeals to audiences everywhere.
