These orchestrations, assisted by Manly Romero, were created by the composer on commission from Deutsche Gramophone expressly for soprano Measha Brueggergosman. The complete set of ten songs may be heard on her 2007 CD, “Surprise!” and are also available for rental from the publisher. This version contains five of the ten cabaret songs. Movements: I.
