The Melting Voice is an arrangement for large chamber ensemble of the third movement of Crockett's orchestra work, Melting Voices, which takes poetic fragments as points of departure. "The Melting Voice" comes from John Milton: "The melting voice through mazes running, untwisting all chains that tie the hidden soul of harmony."
