Begun when a friend told the composer of the Nazi invasion of Czechoslavakia during World War II, Nelhybel ceased working on it out sadness and frustration.  Finished at the suggestion of his friend Peter Boonshaft, this edition is faithful to the original manuscript in every way way save the metronome markings.
