ROUND HILL MUSIC DESIGNATES KEISER SOUTHERN MUSIC TO HANDLE E. B. MARKS “CLASSICAL”
Round Hill Music appointed Keiser Southern Music the exclusive worldwide agent for the recently acquired E. B. Marks “classical” and educational music catalog. The long term deal engages Keiser to manage all rental and print activity on a global basis. Keiser will also service and handle the Marks’ composers directly.

David Schiff's suite of four pieces by Duke Ellington entitled DUCAL SUITE was dedicated to and premiered by David Shifrin and the Dover String Quartet on July 26, 2017, presented by Chamber Music Northwest. Schiff's arrangement for clarinet and string quartet is a sophisticated urban cocktail.
The Santa Barbara Music Club has been among the most stalwart local chamber music organizations in the US. On December 4, 2017 it presented one of a series of concerts to celebrate the 90th birthday of one of their local musical heros, composer Emma Lou Diemer.
Composer Don Freund has enjoyed several fine performances during the 2017-18 season, during which he celebrated his 70th birthday. On July 27, Alarm Will Sound performed HARD CELLS at the Mizzou International Composers Festival in Columbia, MO. The ensemble has become known over the past twenty-plus years since its founding at the Eastman School for creative programming and proved equal to the challenge of this jazzy minimalist work.
